Shipping & Delivery

We offer fast & reliable delivery. Depending on your location, standard shipping usually takes around 3-7 business days. If you need Express Shipping, please email us for a quote prior to making a purchase.

Returns & Refunds Policy

In the unlikely event that a return is requested, all returns must include all original items undamaged, in re-saleable condition, including the invoice. Postage and handling fees are not refundable. Buyer is responsible for postage costs incurred in returning products unless the wrong item has been posted. A return authorization must be obtained before posting the item. We will not refund items that are damaged because of improper use or poor packaging by the buyer.

Item must be returned within 7 days after the buyer receives it.

Conditions of Sale

While we take utmost care in listing and detailing our products, any errors or omissions in the item details is unintentional. Please inform us of any such errors

Warranty

When buying online, many people are concerned with warranty. What if the product is faulty? What if it doesn’t work with my door? What if it breaks down after 1 week? Will be too costly & lengthy to send it back to us. We will try to address some of these concerns below:


How long is warranty for all motors?

Warranty varies for each motor, all manufacture warranties are per their installation manual. Please refer to the ‘Warranty” section under each listing for warranty period. Ranges from 1 year to 7 years, warranty conditions must be met to ensure that the motor is covered under warranty.


What’s the warranty procedure and how long will the process take?

Any motor that has been identified as a warranty motor will need to be returned to base for assessment, please follow the following steps.

Firstly, please contact us to let us know the problem you are experiencing with your motor. We will confirm a few details to make sure the product qualifies for a warranty repair / exchange and we will issue you with further information for a return. We will also advise whether the problem is not covered under warranty.
You can then organise for the motor to be returned to us at YOUR expense and then we will organise to forward onto the manufacture for warranty. Once the motor has been returned to us from the manufacture we can either send back to you at OUR expense.

Generally the warranty process can take between 2-3 weeks, however you would also need to take into account the manufactures workload. In extreme circumstances the waiting time on warranty can be delayed by 4 weeks, but this does not happen very often. We can mark it as urgent when we send them back, but ultimately it is the manufactures decision to make.

If the motor is not covered under warranty the manufacture will advise the additional expense to get functioning again. Even if you decides to not go ahead with the repair they would be liable for any freight charges and/or service charges.

For example we sent a motor back to ATA and the technicians discovered that the cord had been severed by the door curtain and was going to cost $100 to repair, and you do not want to go ahead with this and wanted the unrepaired motor back. In this case because it was not covered under warranty the portion of freight which ATA would have covered was then charged to our account, therefore we passed the expenses plus our own onto you which was approximately $100 also.


Will buyer pay for return postage?

Yes, you will need to pay for return postage, even if the problem is covered under warranty. We will cover for postage sending the product back to you.


What’s covered under warranty and what’s not?

The warranty of each motor depends as per their installation manual, generally is only manufacture fault.


Will warranty be available to all states in Australia?

Yes warranty is covered all over Australia, the motor will need to be returned to base for assessment, therefore you would be without the motor for a period of time. But we will try to send the repaired or replacement product back to you as soon as possible.

For some remote controls, we will state when they are “compatible remotes” and not original.

Secure Payment

We accept online payment via PayPal, you can pay by credit cards or a PayPal account. Some Customers have expressed concerns about using their credit cards online, we can definitely understand their concerns. Too often we’ve heard about people buying online and paying with a credit card directly through the seller’s website, if there is a problem with the sale, they are left unprotected and have no way to recover their money.

Through our many years of doing online business, we have found that PayPal is very safe & secure and can protect you against online fraud. You can pay with confidence knowing PayPal has a Buyer’s Protection program. This means, if you are unhappy with us (the seller) you can report or open a dispute with PayPal and they can protect you for the full purchase price plus shipping costs, up to $20,000 per item. Of course, you will never need to go this far as we will do our best to resolve the issue or issue the refund ourselves.

Even with the above, we understand that some buyers are still reluctant to pay online. Therefore we also accept offline payment method such as Bank Transfer or Direct Bank Deposit. We will email our bank details to you after you’ve made the purchase, you can then securely make a payment using your own banking option. Simply remember to use the correct payment reference and let us know once payment is made.
