The Process – What to Expect

Once you’re ready to go ahead, here are the steps we take to ensure a fast, smooth order process.

Step 1 – Consultation

Call us and ask questions like…

“I have an opening of 2100 high x 2400 wide, what size door should I get?”

“My garage side clearance is only 100mm on each side, is that enough?”

“How much overlapping do I need?”

“How much headroom do I need for a standard installation?

We will provide you with detailed answers. If we’re not sure about anything, we will consult with our experienced installers first then get back to you.

Step 2 – Selection

Once you know the right size door to get, you can finalise your selection of COLOURS, PATTERNS & TEXTURE. We don’t simply let you read endless text and look at pictures, we can guide you through the selections to make sure you know exactly what you’re choosing. You can then either order online or order through us over the phone / chat or emails.

Step 3 – Confirmation & Deposit

If you buy directly through us, we will not require full payment. We will ask for a 50% deposit to put the order through. In most cases, we will send through an invoice which will include our full business details as well as a complete description of what you’re paying for. We will also email through a confirmation of door size, opening size and final amount BEFORE you commit.

If you order online, you are required to make full payment. However, this is refundable if there’s any issue with your purchase.

Step 4 – Ordering & Further Confirmation

Once we receive your payment / deposit payment confirmation, we will put your order through. We will then send through another confirmation outlining what you have ordered. Our detailed confirmation will confirm sizes, installation guides, delivery information, our Terms & Conditions, as well as other important information you need to know.

Step 4 – Final Payment

Once door(s) is confirmed to be made, we will contact you to organise for final payment. 

Step 5 – Pickup / Delivery

Once we receive your final payment confirmation, we will send through (either text or email) detailed pickup address, instruction, order number and further information to help you with picking up the door(s).

Step 6 – Further Consultation

This is the extra step that most suppliers do not offer. Between Step 1 – 5, if you have any further questions regarding installation, feel free to contact us. Even after picking up your door, if you still have further questions, we will continue to help you. If we don’t know the answer, we will put you through to our experienced installers who can offer advice over the phone.

In summary, you will be dealing with REAL people with REAL experience in installing garage doors who will help you all the way through, this is not buying online, we’re simply listing our products online but we offer specific consultation for your job.

How do I know if this is not a scam?
A: We will not get offended if a Customer asks this question. We are well aware of the numerous online business frauds and scams. Therefore, we will provide you with actual ways to do a background check on us before doing any business with us. When you proceed with an order we will issue an invoice (for a deposit) which will contains the following information:

Where is your business located?
A: Our home based office is in Bass Hill NSW 2197. Gliderol factory (where you will be picking up doors from) is located in Smithfield NSW 2164. You’re welcome to visit either location. Please arrange for an appointment with us.

Can I visit a showroom or see working doors?
A: You certainly can. You can either visit us Bass Hill (please make an appointment) or our supplier, Gliderol, in Smithfield 2164 and let them know you are a Customer of CMC. Please let us know in advance if you wish to come in to visit either locations.

What brand is the door?
A. We’re supplying Gliderol doors. We are a qualified Gliderol dealer for more than 15 years. Gliderol uses Australian BlueScope Steel. Gliderol doors are manufactured in Smithfield NSW and Pinkenba QLD factories.

Is this good quality doors?
A. If we say “yes”, we’ll be called “biased”. But we can tell you we have been using Gliderol doors for most if not the entire duration of our time in business. We offer warranty for our product & service, therefore we would not use “low quality products”. Here’s a summary of Gliderol sectional doors.

What’s the warranty?
A. Gliderol offers 12 months warranty on doors and colorbond.

Is it hard to take measurements?
A. Taking measurements for your garage opening is a very simple process. Have a chat with us and we can guide you on how to take measurements. Please use the following diagram as a guide.

How do I place an order?
A. You can place an order online through our Online Store which requires full payment through PayPal.
Alternatively, we can send through an invoice for a 50% deposit, you can pay by Bank Transfer with this option. If you prefer to come into our office to place an order, please contact us to make an appointment to visit our Bass Hill office, unfortunately this option is not available to our QLD Customers since we don’t have a branch in QLD.

How long is ordering time?
A. Approximately 4 weeks for standard colourbond sectional doors.

Can I get a motor / opener as well?
A. Yes you can. Please let us know and we will quote you additionally.

Can I pay cash in person?
A. Yes. Some of our Customers just prefer to meet us in person to pay cash (perhaps for reassurance that we are real). This is fine, please contact us to arrange for

Why can’t I pay full or pay balance on pickup?
A. Unfortunately we will require a deposit to order the door as this is a Custom Order. We can not accept payment on pick up simply because we will not be at the factory. You will be picking up directly from our Supplier’s factory which has more resources to help you load. However, if you prefer to meet us to pay before going in to pick up, this can be arranged.

Are there any doors ready for pickup?
A. Unfortunately we don’t stock up ready made doors, simply because every Customer needs specific size & colour. However, from time to time, we do stock 1 or 2 doors in popular sizes and colours, please ask us.

Will installation manual be included?
A. Yes, absolutely. When you put an order through, we will email a link to download our manufacturer’s installation guide. Feel free to ask for a copy of an installation manual before ordering, just so you can check whether you’d be comfortable with installation.

Can you deliver?
A. We can deliver within Sydney. Please ask us for a quote. Since we have specific requirements for delivery, it is best that you discuss this option at the beginning, before placing an order so we can request for it.

Can you install or do you have installers?
A. Unfortunately installation service is not available. However, if you can not find an installer we are more than happy to recommend one of our qualified, backup installer (jobs within Sydney only).
